Support the work

Let's tell stories.

Independent production runs on people who decide a story is worth finishing. Every dollar here goes straight into getting Holy Trip made right.

I shot the Holy Trip proof of concept on next to nothing, published it, and the concept works. It's live on social media now, and I'm raising the money to finish the story the way it deserves.

I came up sitting next to the money on studio TV that cost millions an episode. So I can tell you exactly where a contribution lands, and I will.

Giving isn't the only way in. Sharing the proof of concept, sending the reel to somebody who casts, or making an introduction to representation moves this just as far.

Where it goes

What your support pays for

Real line items, in the order they get spent.

01

Crew & cast

Paying people properly for the days. The First AD and the Line Producer come first, every time, because twelve-hour days are how budgets survive.

02

Production days

Locations, gear, insurance, and the paperwork that makes all of it legal and sellable later.

03

Post & delivery

Edit, mix, color, music clearance, captions and QC to platform spec. Finished means delivered.

Contribute

Put something in the pot.

One time or monthly, whatever size. It all goes to the same place. Reach out and I'll send you the way to give.

Contributions are not tax-deductible. Just Another Dope Entity LLC is a for-profit production company, not a nonprofit.

Before you ask

Fair questions

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

No. Just Another Dope Entity LLC is a for-profit production company, not a registered nonprofit, so contributions are not tax-deductible. I'd rather tell you that up front than have you find out at tax time.

Where does the money actually go?

Crew and cast first, then production days, then post and delivery. I keep a real budget with real line items and I'm happy to walk you through it.

Can I help without giving money?

Yes, and it matters just as much. Share the proof of concept, send the reel to somebody who casts, or make an introduction to representation.

Can I work on it instead?

If you're crew, a location, or a vendor, send me a note through the contact page with what you do and your rate range.
